I spoke to Pete last night

Thanks Jen for the new number.

Pete sounds great and the prognosis is VERY positive. He's feeling good and he's in good hands.

Well hopefully Pete is getting ready to come home soon. I really hope that he is feeling much better, and I am so grateful to hear that he is recovering quickly.

Pete told me that Jen has been reading all these posts to him. He's been amazed at the response and very touched by all the well wishes sent his way.

He says that this has proven to him that this is truly an AWESOME community! I wholeheartedly agree with him!

Pete is home and doing great. He would have responded himself, but I swamped his e-mail when he was in the hospital, with all the private e-mails that were sent to me. I am certain he will post as soon as he is feeling up to it.

I'm Alive And Thriving...Thanks To Your Thoughtfulness...

Hi, fellow ticklephiles:

Been home for a couple of days now. Had band practice for 3 hours yesterday (Seemed a bit grueling, even being excused from lifting equipment per doctor's orders) and I feel I am on the mend. 😉

Jen has been away visiting her grandmother in Florida who is in the Intensive Care Unit and likely to fail soon (she is over 90 years old). :cry1: She is wrestling with that eventuality, but otherwise in good spirits.

Thanks again for your greetings cards, concerns, thoughts, prayers, and kind words. Rest assured, they will not be forgotten. 😀
