Well, the teaser pic sorta got the old juices flowing, but here's the true update for you today! Yes, this is my new direction. To be honest, I've just dumped my felt pens and chose the more modern technique: CGing! This new look for my art has been long overdue, and I was even thinking of going into it just after I entered the scene. And let's be honest, that old flet pen technique was uninspiring, old and doing nothing for my art really. I acquired Paint Shop Pro 7 quite a long time ago. I didn't know who to use it (except add text to my art when needed) until I discovered a sort-of dummies tutorial on how to colour fan art. I also received some advice from the likes of Scamwich, sl44n3sh, Brian Richter (of LCD fame) and a few others on how to produce good CGs. Thanks guys! Anyway, here are the finished articles. It may not be the best you've seen in the TMF, but it's the worst I could do!
Sultry Samurai Shodown siren Shiki. Yeesh, say that with your mouth full!
I promised I'd CG this Lum pic one day. Always a man of my word...
My personal Selis gift to Scamwich. Mind you, he did the wrapping himself!
Xiau-Li, Bethany and their cat don't give two monkeys about Rosa's life...
A truly effective way to supress and divert Bonne Jenet's temper
Well, I hope it was worth the wait, and I hope you enjoyed these as much as I enjoyed making them. Someone said CGing toons is a cop-out and takes the fun outta drawing. What do they know?
