Is there any sure way to get a shiny pokemon? i've been breeding trying to get one
Hiya....I can't believe I'm even responding to this thread as I'm probably out of the loop at this point........so it's been quite a while since I've played Pokemon so I won't assume I know specifics. Are you playing on a particular game system and if so, which version of the Pokemon game are you playing?
Breeding two pokémon from different language games means you're four times more likely to get a shiny than you are breeding two from the same language game.
It's still 1-in-2000 or so, but it's better than the usual 1-in-8000.
In fan circles this is called the Masuda Method.
Yeah, I'm cool.
Aye, basically - just use the GTS til you get a foreign language one. For some reason one of the programmers decided to include programming so that it quadruples your chances of getting a shiny.so basically trade a pokemon from a foreign cartrige and trade it to like an english version?
Aaah, I just don't have the patience for soft resetting... and was never any good at pokéradar chaining, kept breaking it at about 20 or soI am a closet poke-nerd to the core.
Soft resetting. Doesn't make your chances any better, but makes it faster and more precise. That's how I managed the shiny Dialga in Diamond. It literally took days, I'd go for a while, just resetting over and over again, then get bored, leave it plugged in the charger and open and do it again later...
