Pokemon Shield Help

Hi All! Has anyone figured out the, I forget the name of the town, the one where the grass gym is. But, anyway. Has anyone figured out the standing stone puzzle?

I have got the players guide, and use a walk-through I found online, but. I still can't figure it out.

I know it starts with the "grass" stone.

I figured it out. I was that stupid "clue" that got me.

If anybody else is having trouble with it. The answer is Grass, Water, Fire.

I'd heard that this was giving people fits because they couldn't figure it out.

I don't have either version yet, but do plan on getting one of them soon, probably Sword. The exclusives list is what convinced me.

I can see that. The clue they give makes no sense. I hope that thet isn't anymore puzzles like this.
