Our country would be far better off with a progressive like Dennis Kucinich as president and a Congress that shares his vision (and not just of UFOs, which both presidents Reagan and Carter claimed to have seen). I have no opinion of Jeri Thompson. It's a moot point. Her husband is out. I hope she enjoys Fred's money after he bites the big one. She'll have many more years to live off it.

Speak for yourself, buster. I am not a spectator in our democracy. And this is definitely not a game. The homeless guy riding the bus all night in the dead of winter isn't playing a game. I refuse to let the media dictate my choice at the poll. You're a spectator by choice.

Kucinich is out. But the media never gave Kucinich a fair shake. Frederick of Hollywood, however, was considered a serious candidate and the darling of the right wing who didn't want McCain (campaign finance reform), Giuliani (pro choice) or Romney (wrong religion). Kucinich fought the good fight. Thompson just went to sleep.

You're right. And I'm sorry. It's just that I go Sonny Corleone sometimes when I see people put down someone based on media misinformation, especially when it comes to something as important as politics. I would even defend politicians with whom I don't agree if I though the media weren't being fair.

Besides, I'm a lee. So the answer to your question is: Not a one of them. But of all the prez candidates wives I would most like to look like it would be John Edwards' better half.
