I'm not going to say it's all daisys and fluffy pink bunnies, because it's not. I'm pretty open about my fetish now, and it's gotten CONSIDERABLY better. I have friends, not too many, but they exist, and all of them think nothing of it. Whether that means they think it's too creepy to get into or just don't mind is beyond me, but I respect them for taking it like that. Also, like babinsky, I am a foot guy. Now, I must say, most women I meet are opposite of what you described. They love it when guys pay attention to their feet, and don't mind at all if I tickle them now and then. But I do understand how you feel, because it used to be like that for me. Also, while most people are fine and are even willing to let me tickle them, I've been teased before. But you know, we arn't in Junior High anymore. If they want to tease me, they can go ahead. I know plenty of other people who don't mind.
Overall, it's a great thing. Had I not become open about it, I would probably consider it a curse, among other things. I, like the poster of the thread, see it as my gift. I see it as just another part of me, and when I start to get used to it, and when I start to be open, I discover it's really no big thing. Everyone has their little fetishes that they think are strange.
