Because the thread on instrumentalists threw me so much...

I want to know what are your favorite instruments...

and if you play an instrument what is it?

For me I love basically all instruments like saxophone (all types), oboe, violin, viola, guitar, and many many more...

I play: flute, piccolo, clarinet, alto recorder, soprano recorder, bass drum, piano, and a little bit of trumpet and french horn.

half-assedly for me:
guitar, a little drums, piano/keyboards, used to sing in a cover band when i was stationed in germany, which was really fun.

i say half-assedly because i have never taken any lessons. i just get by on what i listen to and figure it out from there. i could never be a professional musician though.

I've been playing guitar for about 9 years now, trained in both classical and blues improv and have played in bands ranging from top-40 to metal.

I like to think I can drum, but I'm not that good yet.

I can play some piano, not great but I can get along.

Learned sax a few years ago but need to brush up on it.

And payed for a good chunk of my college education with a nice clarinet scholarship I received.

Oh and the verdict is still out on if I can sing or not....

My favorite instrument is the voice. I play women, but only in the way they enjoy. 😀

well hunny if i still had my cello i would have loved to play with you, but i gave it to my sister as a wedding present...which i'm tempted to be an indian giver because i miss it....

I play piano, keyboards and some guitar. I enjoy singing sometimes, but I have difficulty staying on pitch, so I don't consider vocals as one of my instruments. I enjoy arranging and sequencing songs.

A good bass guitar solo is about one of the coolest things there is in my opinion. Also a fan of all kinds of guitar and drums.

As far as playing I played the Tenor Sax for a little while and never really got the hang of the guitar although I would like to take another crack at it one of these days. All I have done successfully for any period of time was sing, but I guess that doesn't count.

I like banjos and fiddles and accordions and bagpipes and lutes and hurdy gurdys. I also like pipe organs and sometimes go down to the Catholic cathedral in Liverpool to unplug the bungholes of the magnificent alto voce they have there. After that I go down to the Protestant cathedral and spit on the door. Fucking proddy scum.

I have to say my voice.. yes, I do have a nice singing voice yet for anyone to hear it I have to be a bit tipsy so get me drunk and ya can hear it, for I have not had a voice lesson in over 5 yrs... hehehehehhe but cant play any instruments..
