Bad Religion - News From The Front , Big Bang

A couple more from Mr. Loaf.If i remember,Todd Rundgren wrote all the songs on this album, and also played many of the instruments.Sound right Frank?

Of all the albums I wanted to buy back then, I never owned a copy of "Bat Out Of Hell"! I've been meaning to pick up a copy, though. I DO remember jumping rope in my backyard while "Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad" was playing on the radio, in 1978. I was trying to get in shape in time for high school football.

As for Todd Rundgren, I believe the songs were written by Jim Steinman but Todd handled the production duties and played guitar on the album.

Wasn't this used in "The Benny Hill Show" during some of the sketches? I know "Yakety Sax" was, but this sounds familiar, too.

George Martin & His Orchestra - "And I Love Her" (1964) YouTube did it again! I haven't heard this instrumental version of "And I Love Her" since I had the original vinyl copy of the Beatles' "A Hard Day's Night" album waaaay back when! George Martin was the Beatles' producer, and he would often perform on some of their recordings (the piano part on "In My Life," for example). George Martin arranged and recorded instrumental tracks with his orchestra for inclusion on the film's soundtrack, of which some of the songs appeared on the American version of the "A Hard Day's Night" album. This version of "And I Love Her" has always been a favorite of mine.

Your right about the Capital records for both "A Hard Days Night" and the "Help" Albums were filled with George Martin soundtrack music for the american market. The EMI british versions were all original Beatles songs by The Beatles themselves. A few years ago The Beatles released a boxed set of all the EMI albums the way the Beatles really wanted their albums released and it is these records that really show the true evolution of the group. But many of the capital records that are no longer in the stores anymore are now collectors items. Albums like "Somthings New" and "The Beatles Second Album" are hard to find.
