Well as can be predicted, we had a power failure this morning. It went out at 912am, and came back on around 1045, which, considering the storms, and other previous failures that lasted 6, 9 or 12 hrs, is short.
The problem is my mom. Instead of remaining calm, she got into a hysterical crying fit .Granted, her oxygen is a problem, and we would have to go to Lancaster General ER for a failure of any length of time. Thankfully, it came back on relatively quickly, and I'm hoping God willing will stay on. The winds seem to have died down, and the sun is trying to come out.
I hope everyone else is doing okay in the areas affected by Irene.
