Well as can be predicted, we had a power failure this morning. It went out at 912am, and came back on around 1045, which, considering the storms, and other previous failures that lasted 6, 9 or 12 hrs, is short.

The problem is my mom. Instead of remaining calm, she got into a hysterical crying fit .Granted, her oxygen is a problem, and we would have to go to Lancaster General ER for a failure of any length of time. Thankfully, it came back on relatively quickly, and I'm hoping God willing will stay on. The winds seem to have died down, and the sun is trying to come out.

I hope everyone else is doing okay in the areas affected by Irene.

You had to expect power failures, glad to hear that you could make it to the E.R.

Yes, carl, I know. The failure didnt surprise me.

Luckily we didnt have to go to the ER because the power came back on after 90 mins and stayed on, so no ER for a change. That was nice.
