Power of the Darkness :Adult Namine tickled */F

For this piece I tried a back perspective with Namine's head turned so I could show both the sole tickling and her laughter as well. I did much better on the ffeet this time than last time, and made sure to to use the line art in the right places to get the shape I wanted. I also feel I did well with the face as well. I did try a new style of drawing the mouth to show her laughter. This was originally done in pencils and colored pencils but I got so much smudging with the colored pencils that I decided to use digital colorization instead.

I was fairly pleased with the way my color came out. I added a bt of shine in the shoulder areas as well.

I am still working on getting the drawing of hands down but I am improving. I got the fingers in fairly ever proportions though a finger or two may be a bit off. But I have been practicing at drawing hands as well as feet.

Now that I take a closer look I realize my leg proportions are a little uneven so I will have to edit that when I can. But overall I feel this is one of my better works. Enjoy🙂

And BTW, just for anyone who didn't know, Namine is a character from Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories who is primarily known as Kairi's shadow.

Also, I kept in the graphite stick rubbing as a background because I thought it would be an appropriate fuzzy shadow background to go with the strands of darkness.

Another interesting picture, K-Skate! I like the over-the-shoulder body positioning: it's unusual and cleverly worked out, for the reasons you state. Namine's left arm is a bit low and extended in relation to her torso: it has a slightly dislocated feel. Otherwise, I notice nothing awkward about the anatomy in this challenging pose. It's good to see you experiment. The starkness of the attacking tentacles is rather startling and frame Namine's figure well. Very nice work!

Thank you Low_Roads. Once again you provide a well thought out response. I did do some reviewing and I can see where you think the arm is low. I will have to work on that. I was just trying to keep similar proportions and didn't notice. I will consider what you said about the arm postition for future works.

I like to experiement because I don't want to get stuck in a rut drawing the same positions over and over again. So I try as many different perspectives as I can think of. But I am glad that you enjoyed it.🙂
