Preference to being tied up?

Anyone have a specific way they like to be tied up to a bed? Or if you were going to be tied up for the first time, how would you want to be tied up? I'm a huge fan of the classic spread eagle position. Arms and legs to each bed post/headboard since it would pretty much expose all my ticklish spots. I know some people enjoy hogtied and arms above the head and stuff. Anyone have a preference?

Spread eagle is awesome... but the more I think about the "inverted Y" position, the more I like it. Your spots are equally as exposed if not more

I prefer being tied either spread-eagle or hog-tied. They provide the best access to my spots and I've found them the more comfortable of the positions.

This. That position also allows for the ankles to be together, which makes it easier (and much more fun) to do a lot of toe bondage.

Not a fan of hogtying.

Spread eagle on a raised surface. Typically, tied to a 4-post bed with pillow/blankets rolled up in the middle to stretch the torso nice and taut.

The inverted Y position you all speak of sounds torturous... But fun. I've never really been tickled whilst tied up before so I can't say what I prefer though I'm enjoying hearing the suggestions.

I'll deviate from everyone elses responses...

I prefer no bondage. I'm a pretty big guy so it's fun to sort of "bully" my ticklee into ticklish submission. I think it's more intimate and playful this way too. I do love a good spread eagle too though. I've never met a real "ticklee" before so I convert my lees one at a time....bondage tends to be a bit much for many women.

I've always been curious as to how it feels to be restrained facing the ground like they do in several Bleu Fetish videos, that has always intrigued me as an interesting twist to my usual favorite way of being tied, spread-eagle. Having one's abdomen raised by pillows or other wadded up fabrics always helps immobilize more, and perhaps having more ropes added to make it so you can't move your arms or legs (Haha, maybe like that table used by RealTickling with all the ropes threaded through it). One thing of interest is maybe have something like a human sized piece of foam with an indention cut to a person's size and the position you wanted them in, that way when in it and somehow made so that they couldn't get out (more rope I guess) at least their front end would be open to tickling, though this cuts out the back and sides, sort of the idea of a vac bed, though that might be another good way to completely immobilize.

On a bed specifically? Hmm... Face down, arms together up at the headboard, ankles together at the bottom. Pretty damn helpless, I'd say.

i like spread eagle too, or at least my hands tied apart, the fact that I cant reach my opposing arms restraints add to the helplessness.

I'd much rather be face up, not face down. And totally immobilized? Being wrapped up I guess with several spots open for tickling of course lol. Still, spread eagle with both arms and legs tied up/cuffed is just sexy and makes you vulnerable.
