Good thing I checked my stats (for the first time in ages) so I could see the huge bump in visitors due to this thread. Nice.
I guess what happened is, the last few videos didn't sell as I expected them to, or needed them to, so I halted production.
Making a video that is worth a crap, is not a cheap or easy thing to do. Finding a girl who is genuinely ticklish with the right kind of laughter is even harder. They all say they are ticklish, but being "video worthy" ticklish is another thing. If I'm going to put forth that much effort and money, I want the result to be good. So it's harder than a lot of sex videos to make.
Plus, there seems to be a lot of good tickling video producers out there now, so I didn't figure the economics have improved. Besides the fact that the whole world seems to be going to "hell in a hand basket" financially and who has money to spend on videos when there are loads of it out there for free.
Aside from all that, I will never shut the website DungeonMaidens down because it provides me a dependable monthly income, albeit small, but welcome. And it's a decent library of videos.
Though, lately I have been thinking of producing another video just to see if things have changed economically. The number of hits this thread got to the website was inspiring.
Let me ask you folks a question; what video format do you want your videos to be in these days? Flash video seems to be a very popular format a lot of folks are using. Maybe offer .wmv and .flv? Does anyone still want Realplayer, I was thinking of getting rid of that format?
What are your thoughts?
