I need help. I am trying to take preview type smaller clips from my larger ones to post here. But even when I cut them down to thirty seconds or so they still seem to be too large to post. They are wmv files.What am I doing wrong?

it's possible that you aren't compressing them enough, if at all. when you make a video, a lot of data is collected and can really make a file bigger than it should be. background noise can be a big killer. if you filter it out, it should take the file size down.
 
Length is not always the best indicator of size. If you have a 30 second clip that has a very high video quality it can and will be over the file size limit for the TMF. In Windows, right-click on the file and choose "Properties". A window will appear detailing properties about the file including its size. Pay attention to the sizes in parentheses as they are the true sizes.
