In the last few days, I've had quite a few people message me, asking if the Prom' story is done. Well, it isn't finished yet. It's been hard to find the time to work on this because my day to day life has been hectic. But the portion I have completed can be found here.

Good to see you're doing fairly well. This was not a recent incident, right?

By the way, looking at how your grandmother almost force-fed you, are you guys or Mediterranean descent? I am, and this whole closeness of family seems to be too familiar haha.

Good to hear from you, and yes, I am doing well. You are correct that this wasn't a recent incident.

And no, my family has no Mediterranean ancestry that I know of (though you're not the first person to ask).
 
Reflex, I've always liked your stories, they're well written, descriptive and carry human tones. I love the English language, and you use it brilliantly. Kudos to you, keep up the great work.

my favorite prom encounter

I remember my encounter. My date Michelle was tired from a long day and night about partying and fun. She had kicked off her dark blue pumps and was going around in her nylons. She found a comfy chair in the lobby and curled up. Her right foot was clearly visible. Her best friend looked at me and mouthed quietly "tickle her foot"

I lightly ran my finger from heel to toes. She wiggled her foot and whined. So we then took turns teasing her foot purposely missing the most sensitive and just doing enough to get a reaction. She started smiling and getting more ticklish each attack. Finally she streched both legs out and said "Here tickle away"

I'm a very big fan of your stories, I keep saved copy's of them on my laptop in their own folder so I can read them on the go. They are so realistically done that it feels that right their. And they remind me of my cousins, unfortunately I don't live quite as close as you do. But enough rambling from me, once again excellent work and looking froward to the rest of your story and future stories.

Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I'm truly flattered that you saved these to your computer to read during your travels. And thanks to you as well, Rob. Hopefully I'll be able to finish this at some point in the not too distant future.

I failed to say this the first time through, but I've greatly enjoyed your posts at the TMF as well. You're a brilliant writer and I've always enjoyed your work.
 
Well i just have to say.
I've read all your stories and loved every one of them.
But the kicker is that even without the tickling i would love them.
You have a flair for writing and bringing memories alive.
Kinda makes me feel i'm a part of your warm loving family in some small way.
As silly and crazy as that might sound that's just how it is so thank you for that and i hope you continue to share the tales of a youth in a strange generation so near yet seemingly so far.

I read a lot of stories, true and fiction, tickle oriented or completely unrelated. I also don't post very often around here. That sir is one of the very best stories I have ever read, period. The detail and realism are astounding and to take a phrase from another poster, "art" is not at all an understatement. Simply amazing.

I'm going to be completely honest....

This has been an AWESOME read for me, it took over an hour to get the full read in, but I enjoyed it so much I can't wait to see if there is a continuation to it.

This story was like reading Harry Potter as a 6th grader, I got so into the descriptiveness of the story, and honestly want to say, the wya you described yourself and Kate, really makes me want to meet this girl. She seems like a really special person.

Kudos to you for your writing style as this is the first story of yours I have read. Keep up the awesome work my friend.

Thanks to you as well for your kind review (and I'm pleased that you stuck with it even though it took you an hour to get through this story). This piece will be finished, I'm just not entirely sure when. Accurately converting my memories to words onscreen is proving to be quite the challenge (and I try very hard to be descriptive so readers can get a mental picture of the people, places and events I'm describing). My day to day life has been hectic of late, so I've been chipping away at this a bit at a time. I'll probably just keep adding to the post you just read as I get more pieces completed.

Excellent story Relfex as are all of your others. Cant wait to see how this turns out. Its really special, the relaitionship you have with your cousin. I assume this was a long time ago and things have changed alot but do you still get to have encounters like this?

Thanks to both of you for your replies. I am still working to get this experience on paper, but lately, my schedule has been difficult and finding quality time to write has been harder than usual. Nonetheless, I hope to have this done sometime fairly soon.

The events in this story took place just over a decade ago. Many things have changed, including the fact that Kate is now living halfway across the country, and she's got kids. But we do still have encounters like this when we're able to visit. I suspect that will always be the case since this has been part of our relationship since the earliest days of our childhood.
