"Proof of age on file"

I always see this at the bottoms of tickling websites, in the disclaimers, and this is a question for the producers, I guess. What I want to know is, have you ever had to use this? Has anyone ever asked to see evidence of a model's age? Did you even have the evidence when you wrote that, or did you just hope that no one would ask? If they did ask, would you then have to contact your models and get them to send you their birth certificate, or something? Surely this never actually happens. I'm keen to know.

Whenever you have a shoot with a model there is paperwork (release forms..etc) along with that you usually photocopy their drivers license and/or other forms of picture ID that has their D.O.B. on it. The "Proof of age on file" is pretty important legally when dealing with modeling but especially in dealing with adult oriented movies.

The most interesting story involving this subject has to do with Traci Lords...the XXX star that was actually underage for many of her films. Shows just how important it is to have a few different forms of ID and be positive on the age of the people you work with.

You mean underage for ALL her porn films. Which is one reason you can't buy one legally.
