Pulled Sole muscle

I think I pulled the muscle, just above the heel on my sole while running the other day.
Kinda painful to walk on actually.

Any of you runners ever had this happen to you?

Tempted to have somebody look at it... and even maybe a doctor... LOL

(What a set-up huh...)

It happens. Invest in a small "spiked" roller ball and use it for myo-fascial release before and after you run. It'll loosen the muscle and help it recover.
 
I've been suffering with something similar for a little while. I believe I'll look into one of those rollerballs myself. Thanks for the tip.
 
A roller ball won't heal a strain,which ik what it sounds like you have. I would see a doc or licensed massotherapist to make sure its not just a not. To me it sounds like a strain of the plantar fascia.
 
It's much better now, just need some time off from running I guess.
 
Good thing your running though. It helps put weight off. Try eating a 6-inch subway sandwich twice or three times a day as well. That (combined with excerse) how I lost 17 pounds in 6 months. ^_^

That's what mine actually is. I've tried the stretches that my foot doc recommended, and they help briefly, but it always comes back. I really did a number on it, apparently.
