Punishment?

I am opposed to any form of corporal punishment for children, but I think that using tickling as a punishment would be especially horrendous. The vast majority of people will never become tickling fetishists, but even vanilla people use tickling throughout their lives for all sorts of purposes, including flirting, intimacy, playful roughhousing, etc. Tickling a child as a form of punishment will pretty much guarantee that the individual being punished will grow up to view tickling as something negative, thus preventing him or her from having any positive experiences with tickling as life goes on.

I recall a woman telling a story about how her husband would punish (?playfully?) her for saying/doing something he did'nt like by tickling her feet...but then she was an adult and not a child. Over the years I have read accounts from TMF members and some interviewed of how they were tickled as kids for punishment so it seems to be real among some.

It does present a question---as a kid would you have rather been tickled for a certain amount of time and get it over with or been grounded for 1 or 2 weeks?

That is beyond fucked up to do to a kid, I can't believe there are people that think it's OK. As far as adults go, if it's consensual, who cares? And who cares if someone's not into gags and nipple clamps and shit? It's a tickling website. Some people might JUST be into tickling. When did everyone start getting so butthurt?

I doubt the tale of tickling punishment is at least exaggerated if not all false. Tickling a bound child for five or six hours and then sending them to bed early? Come on, get rel. and the kid was naked for the whole family ordeal? Hokum. If any of it was true, the parents should be arrested for child abuse.

It was on a cartoon teenage mutant ninja turtles lol the kids his a diamond so the Gillian tickled them til they talked boy and girl.

Considering that the character in question was a VILLAIN, then yes, it was completely wrong. And that was the whole POINT.

When I was a kid there was a girl that lived near by and we would walk home together after school. On this occasion the night before we both watched a 1976 tv movie about Houdini starring Paul Michael Glaser (from Starsky and Hutch) and Sally Struthers (from All in the Family) and were talking about his escape artist stunts. Her house was first and we decided to play 'escape artist'. Her parents were divorced and her mom was at work so we had no supervision. We went down to the basement playroom and took turns tying each other up and trying to escape. There was nothing sexual about it at the time. We were focused on escaping like Houdini not tying each other up. It was fun and we laughed a lot so we did this for a couple of days.

then her older sister caught us. There was a roll out couch in the basement and she had me stretched out on it. I could not get out and she was about to untie me when her sister came down stairs. She was obviously shocked and asked us what the hell we were doing. We were embarrassed and explained about Houdini and everything. She laughed at us and asked what happens when someone can't escape. We started to explain about untying them so the other person can try to escape when she interrupted us and cried TICKLE TORTURE and pounced on me. I remember my friend who I had been playing with eyes lighting up and joining in. They tickled the daylights out of me. At one point the older sister was dangling her her long hair in my face and tickling my underarms and I recall becoming very aroused. Possibly for the first time. After that the escape artist game became the tickle torture game. We played it a lot.
