Put the toothbrushes away!

Alchemy here with a rather minor, but irritating quibble about a lot of the video clips I've been seeing recently.

Why is it that every video made by every video producer now contains lots and lots of toothbrush tickling? Is it me, or is this kinda outta control. Seriously, go down to the clips section and click on a video. I'll wait.....

You know, there was a time a few years back that using a toothbrush in a scene or a video was kind of a kooky fun idea. It was like "Hey cool, dude has a toothbrush. Let's see how she reacts to that".

This time has past.

Now it's more like "Wow, toothbrushes...who would have guessed. Didn't see that one coming."

Tools are all well and good, but like anything else, must be used in moderation. You know, all of your toothbrushes, tongue cleaners, waterpicks, and pasta strainers are ok, but for god sakes, let them have a vacation once in a while.

What happened to just using fingers and/or fingernails?

..and don't even get me started on the hair brushes...

I tried using an electric toothbrush on Becca's feet in her latest video, and I was unimpressed. I agree - they need to be retired.

I’ve always considered the so called “tickling tools” in the clips to be a distraction & diversion (possibly intentional) from genuine tickling. I’ve tried most of the tools, but have never come close to getting the reaction induced by skilled fingers, lips, tounge, & teeth.

Said the man with the Freddy Kruger Feather Glove and Evil Vibrating Glove of Doom... But yes, I get your point...I think in private play they are great and they do make a reaction however, on video it does seem, hmmm tacky AND it reduces the onscreen intensity I think.

While a couple of girls I've tickled had better reactions to devices other than my fingertips, tickling with my hands gets the most consistently good reaction.

I agree 200%. How damn hard can it be to tickle a foot with your damn hands?

Maybe if they practiced on, like, a rock, or towel, or fake foot, or something.
If it's a model tickling, YES, stop the camera and show her how it's done, then start over.
If she's hopping around, tapping the foot, like the typical FM Concepts ticklers, tell her to just tickle the foot like she would....tickle someone's foot.
If she's just grabbing the foot (what the hell is up with that, anyway? That happens a lot, the tickler just grabs the foot and squeezes. How can that possible tickle anyone?)
...then stop, and tell her to -apply light scratches to the bottom on the foot, in a "tickling motion..."

My boyfriend tried a Sonic Care on me. It didn't tickle at all. Instead it made me itch like crazy. Plus that buzzing sound was just annoying.

I hate tools too! Use your hands people, don't let the stupid brush do all the work, and it doesn't tickle as much as fingers anyways!

I agree Alchemy. Tools are good and fine for a change of pace....but don't run the whole damn race with them.

Although I see a huge problem as well with the use of hairbrushes.

I love the feeling and sight of fingers on flesh, and it is becoming almost rare to it in a lot of videos.

Exactly! Thank you! I've seen so much of it, it's getting to where, if I see a toothbrush in a clip, I close it and move on to something else, regardless of how ticklish the Lee was.

Toothbrushes are the new feather dusters.

Sick of seeing them in videos.

The same with all the hair brushes. For a scene that needs a harder tickle, fine. I know people who's feet don't respond to light touches as much as they do to hard scratching. Fine. Great. For those types of people, use 'em. Other than that, put them away!

Personally, I'd rather see a nice, stiff feather than a brush. At least my mind can associate a feather with tickling. There is nothing erotic or sexy about a toothbrush nor is there anything erotic or sexy about a hairbrush.

A girl giggling while two models try and tickle her with toothbrushes is not sexy, it's irritating.

A girl screaming bloody murder while the tickler peals skin off of the bottom of her foot with a hair brush is not sexy, it's irritating...and little disturbing as well.

Teach these models/Lers how to tickle and take the little cutesy tools away from them.

I try to keep my fingernails a little longer than normal for this reason specifically. Like I said, I tried the whole toothbrush thing and it just feels...abnormal.

Although I also prefer good, old-fashioned finger tickling, other's in the community enjoy the hairbrushes, toothbrushes, feathers, etc....., even more than fingers.

I personally don't see anything wrong with that.....


In a fantasy realm, it's great to believe that every gorgeous 'lee will react wildy to our preferred method of tickling!
Sorry to spoil everyone's fun, but in reality....this is simply FALSE. Different ticklee's have different sensitivity to different forms of stimulation. Just like different tickler's will have different ideas regarding their preferred method of tickling.


A few things you'll notice in my full-length clips are:

--When tools are used, if I'm not getting the reaction that I desire, I IMMEDIATELY go back to the fingers. No time is wasted trying to force a reaction out of someone. I will never dwell on the use of a tool, however, if I get a good reaction from a tool, bottom line is, it will be used.

--I get many requests from members of the forum, and if they want to see a toothbrush against the helpless soles of a first-time 'lee, I WILL use the toothbrush! If it doesn't work after 10 seconds, and I'm getting sub-par reactions, it's right back to the fingers, while the toothbrushes remain turned on, laying on the ground! The psychological impact of using different tools can truly add a lot to the session....especially if the 'lee is blindfolded!

The reason I started producing videos is to bring back the dungeon style edge to tickling.....it's what I prefer, so, it's what I produce! I personally can't think of anything better than a first-time ticklee, (for ex., see my picture in my signature), or any ticklee for that matter, locked helplessly in a set of foot stocks, in a dungeon setting! But once again, other's may completely disagree with that statement.....and I'm 100% fine with that! The tickle world would be a very boring place if we all enjoyed the same settings, methods of tickling, etc. Differences do exist, and will continue to exist....

Think about this....
30 years ago, people would have done anything to have the access to the media that we have at our fingertips..... We can literally wake up in the morning, log into the TMF, and see previews of lee's getting the stuffing tickled out of them! I'd say that we're pretty fortunate! All of us!

Let's just embrace the style that we enjoy, and enjoy the ride!

Thanks Alchemy for starting such an interesting post. I agree with you whole heartedly. Things do tend to get over done. Hence the Tooth brush.
My little lady reacts wonderfully to the tooth brush on her feet as well as the electric Flosser. but as for her armpits, neither one tickles her at all. She says they are just annoying. I guess I'm much more "Old School". Fingers, lips, tongue, and teeth are the only tools I really care to use. Not everyone is going to react the same to one form of tickling or another, but lets know when enough of one type of tickling has been over done, and move on.
