Question About Level of "Feather"

I remember one time seeing a list of the different levels of tmf membership based on how many posts one does. Is there a thread I could see that in?

Here is the updated list:

There are five levels below 1,000 posts:

1--Registered User
50--TMF Novice
150--TMF Regular
300--TMF Expert
600--TMF Master (although I have always contended that it should be TMF Mistress for women members)


At 1,000 posts and above, the designation is a type of feather.
There is a new level every 250 posts, from 1,000 to 9,750:

1,000--First Level Red Feather
1,250--Second Level Red Feather
1,500--Third Level Red Feather
1,750--Fourth Level Red Feather

2,000--First Level Orange Feather
2,250--Second Level Orange Feather
2,500--Third Level Orange Feather
2,750--Fourth Level Orange Feather

3,000--First Level Yellow Feather
3,250--Second Level Yellow Feather
3,500--Third Level Yellow Feather
3,750--Fourth Level Yellow Feather

4,000--First Level Green Feather
4,250--Second Level Green Feather
4,500--Third Level Green Feather
4,750--Fourth Level Green Feather

5,000--First Level Blue Feather
5,250--Second Level Blue Feather
5,500--Third Level Blue Feather
5,750--Fourth Level Blue Feather

In the last two cases I never received the rank, I'm just presuming from the pattern above.


New ranks become very sparse above 72,000 posts. These new ranks have been reched:

108,000 Wielder of 100 Feathers


Highest multiple of 10,000 posts ever reached:

100,000 posts on February 19, 2007
110,000 posts on June 2, 2007

Is there any way to change the member status if, for instance, one does not wish to wield feathers of any description? Perhaps their status copuld be changed to "TMF HERBERT" or just remain at "TMF Member" or something? I'm getting close to 1,000 posts and I dont want to be a feather wielder of any kind. Is it possible to do that, or would I have to go through and baleet my old posts or something?

Let me first note that the most posts by anybody in a 24-hour period was 600 by HDS. The most posts I ever made in a day was 300, and I never intend to do that again.

On a rainy Sunday when I stay home all day I might reach 200 posts. On a normal workday when posting only in the evening, I usually make 70 to 100 posts. On a busy day with many activities, I usually manage to squeeze in 15 to 25 posts.

Custom titles are restricted to Mods by our choice.

With the update, the titles that Mil gets are now automatic again.
