question about logouts

When one exits the forum even though he does not close off his PC I notice that their sign in name will remain on this forum for sometime afterwards, maybe hours. I notice this when I log in from another PC in my house...does your sign in name only get released when you release cookies and log out?

This is a function of the software. If you just leave the page the forum may see you as signed in for a bit after you are gone. It should refresh the list every 10 to 15 minutes but sometimes it naps 🙂
