Question for 'lers: Touch or Sight?

I am on a posting spree today, sheesh.

Anyway, I was posting in the "ticklish doctor's appointment" thread, and it made me think of something.

According to the way men and women are "coded," men respond more to visual stimuli while women respond more to touch. This is part of the explanation as to why men prefer to have sex with the lights on and women prefer them off. Of course, there are many exceptions, but this is the way the majority of men and women seem to respond.

My question is, as lers, what is the most exciting part of tickling your partner?

I personally consider each tickle torture session to be a feast for all of my senses. The sight of the helpless lee wiggling around and her eyes widening as I approach...the sound of her squeals and laugh as she fights for breath...the feel of her quivering flesh under my fingertips...the scent of her body as the torture makes her perspire or become aroused...the taste of her skin if I use my warm, moist tongue to tease her more sensitive areas....

...whew...I should write more.

Anyway, how do YOUR senses play into how you tickle your partners?

I deff love to see the sight of the body squirm beneath my fingers, while listening to every unsteady breath followed directly by their giggles and screams

i dont think (besides when you can taste them) touch really matters to much sense its just as fun to use tools for me than fingers

I think it's all about touch for me. Sight is good too though, so I don't poke the eyes out of my 'lee! 😀

Definitely a multi-sensory turn-on. Sights, sounds, touches, smells... all that stuff.

its not bout what u like better for the lee to have, (cuz when it comes to that only thing i want her to do is speak and feel every other sense is disabled somehow

its which one do you like better to feel or see your ler

Every time I partake in my art, be it merely tickling or in my BDSM sessions, they are always about a totally sensory immersion for me. In tickling, the site of them laying there, bond and waiting, their skin tense in anticipation and then then them wiggling, squirming and flinching brings my own excited giggles to the surface. The various sounds that they make further excite me and drive me in my actions. The feel of their skin, the heat, the tenseness, all of that heighten everything else I feel. The smell of their perfume or lotion, their sweat when it comes forth. The taste of their salty flesh...

Additionally, I extremely need my sight, hearing and touch to make sure that they are in a good state. Without the combination of the three, I could not ensure that a session lasts as long as possible. By feeling the skin, I know when sensation needs to be directed away from there so that it does not become desensitized. By listening to their laughter, I can tell when I need to pull back or when I need to get them water. By seeing them and how their body moves, I can tell when I need to help them adjust positions. I want the session to last as long as it can...

All of these senses are what I need when I play. All of these senses are why I enjoy my art... If I had to choose just one, I would chose none. It would not be the same for me...

Good question!

Haha, coincidentally, I just posted back in the mummification thread about how immobility doesn't, in my mind, make up for not being able to see an exposed ler.

So for me, sight is very very important.

Tickling is awesome when all the sense are used.

Touch- to feel her soft skin under my fingers and to feel her tighten up from expectation. That is number one.

Sound- Squealing, laughing begging. Those make it my second favorite

Sight- Her facial expressions and squirming are amazing. It is my third.

Taste- The kissing, if we're intimate has a better edge to it after a good tickling.

Smell- Well, as any person with a warrior mentality, the smell of fear can be there and excite you. Not fear of me, but fear of how far I will push.

all of the above. i like how the leather restraints smell, the sound of clinking chains (and her begging, pleading, moaning and giggling), the sight of her waiting for the inevitable, the taste of her skin when i just HAVE to follow the hipbone with my tongue, the way she writhes and wiggles as i touch her skin.

speaking of needing to write more...

Having blearily stumbled upon this thread after a string of work, I read the question as "iTouch or iSight?".

I like them tied
to see their eyes open wide
I like them flat
when they are on a mat
I like them standing
begging and demanding
I like them to fight
but they'll lose all night
I like them to giggle
when they start to wiggle
I want to hear them laugh and scream
This...this..is my dream

For some reason, inability to see seems to amp up my sensitivity.

Well they say that loss of one sense heightens the others. You should try it blindfolded, and with your ears completely covered.

Iunno about the ear covered thing. Because I enjoy interacting with the 'Ler. However, I've thought about doing a scene with my eyes covered and/or on my stomach.

I agree about women respond to touch more than men who prefer sight. Mrs L likes the blindfold where I like the restraints. Seeing her body fighting to break free only gets me hotter for her.

I hope this is not off topic; however, I love the way Raven describes her "art". Call me a canvas!

I'd say my best tickling experiences have involved most or all of my senses. Probably the most important are sight, hearing, and touch. Which of these is the most important of all will change from moment to moment - an especially satisfying shriek or moan can vault hearing to the top of the list, but discovering how wet my partner is can make touch the most important the very next minute.

hmm very very true.... sight is great but hearing here scream makes the picture that much better...

Sound is first. Its that laughter that draws me in...If I hear that "ticklish laugh" or uncontrolled laugh,I must find the source. It sucks me in.
And not screaming, screaming is not laughing. I mean laughter, that sweet, deep, lyrical laughter.

Sight is second, seeing the wiggling toes/soles squirm away from my fingers. That "oh" face some lee's make as they are getting tickled like crazy.

Touch is third. Combining the sounds and sight is good, but adding the touch is icing on the cake. Me making that sweet laughter come out of someone can be an awesome high and it can be tough to stop once things get going! But a safeword is a safeword...

Good question Viper!

This thread is about the arousal of all the senses.

Sight: I like watching the expressions on their faces as they are being tickled.

Sound: The sound of laughter should excite the tickler, especially when you locate a good ticklish spot.

Touch or feel: The softness of the skin, or of the fabric on the skin.

Smell: The smell of perfume or lotion can be exciting if placed on parts of the body that are erotic.

Taste: People who nibble the body while tickling like a clean skin surface.

In 'Ler mode, tickling definitely involves all of my senses but I have to say that touch and scent are most prominent. I tend to wrap myself around my 'lee like the round little spider monkey that I am, and the tickling becomes a full body experience; I feel every twitch and shake and shimmy course through them and almost feel it with them, and because I'm a switch I know what they're going through and that takes it to a whole 'nother level. And nothing is as arousing as the scent of the ticklish neck of a trapped 'lee dripping with sweat and pheremones. And chocolate syrup 😉
