Question for producers regarding lighting issues when recording

Sometimes when I record my tickling videos, the skin is too bright on playback. I had tried the white balance adjustment, and I had tried moving the lights themselves when shooting, but I haven't solved the problem yet. Any tips here? Thanks!

It sounds like exposure is what you should start by adjusting, not white balance.
