Question for the guys. Do you shave your pits/chest/stomach

I do, I personally feel it makes me more ticklish and I like the smooth look better. Naturally my chest/belly hair is kind of wiry/stringy I didn't much care for it. I never used to shave it until my last gf (now ex) said she didn't like body hair and I've been shaving ever since. I have posted the question on other sites and I'll occasionally get some flack, people saying its gay and blah blah blah. If you think about it most male models are hairless, same with a lot of body builders.

So to the females on here which do you prefer?

PS I know im white as a ghost lol

Haha Shes gone I got rid of her about a year ago been enjoying the single life ever since. I just turned 21 few months ago and I'm glad I'm single for now, deff don't want to settle down anytime soon that's for sure. She had big time commitment issues so I broke it off before she did. In hindsight I should of never even dated her considering she goes through bf's like I smoke cigs and I smoke a lot. (yea I know bad habit) I stopped shaving my pits but I still shave my chest and stomach. I'm gonna let my treasure trail grow out again and keep that but still shave the rest of my chest, I really don't like the way my chect hair looks. It grows thicker in some places then others. To me it doesn't look good
 
Firstly, anyone making a judgement on someone based on them having a hair-less chest clearly has a few strange things going on in their mind.

It's normal to have a preference for one or the other though so I guess you should expect some banter!

I like my chest hair as it's quite even and spreads to the right points, it is known as a 'crab ladder' apparently, where it fills the chest and then goes in a triangle shape forming a narrow spine of hair down to the waist, where it expands again into the intimate area.

I like to have a bit of my chest hair poking out at the top of my shirt with one button undone.

I do trim my armpit hair sometimes, although I can imagine a full shave being too ticklish.

I trim my nose hair and my groin area.

My only experience of girls commenting on male body hair is generally that most seem to dread having a guy with a hairy back!

Thanks for creating this thread; I'm curious about this topic, too.

Personally, I don't like too much body hair on males. Even if a lot of body hair is considered "more manly", I would prefer a "cuter", more boyish-looking male lee, and I would imagine that it feels much nicer to tickle smooth skin anyway. I'm not into the uber-masculine types. Most of the people I've wanted to tickle had little-to-no body hair at all. (Then again, the majority of them were fictional characters...) Just my personal preference.

As for it being "gay", I really hate it when people feel the need to shame others for the choices they make about their own bodies. This goes for ALL genders: if you dislike being hairy and feel more comfortable shaving, cool. If you don't want to remove your body hair, you don't have to. To the OP, I'm glad you seem to like shaving - if it makes you feel good, don't let anyone shame you about it.

My opinion is do what you like. For me, my chest and stomach naturally aren't hairy so I don't bother with that but I shave my pits.

As for down below, my thinking is if you go to a restaurant and there is hair in your food would you eat it anyway?

Same as my perspective for down there lol. I don't shave my pits anymore I just keep em trimmed to about 1/2 inch. Used to hate the prickly stubble if I got lazy and didn't shave for day or 2. If I'm having a session I will shave the day before. For those that have never shaved before a session you should try it, it really increases ticklishness
 
For myself, no, I don't shave anywhere. I just let my natural body hair grow where it grows. 😀
 
As a pretty straight female, i like dudes that are kinda hairy. No chest hair or armpit hair translates to overly feminine or prepubescent looking, to me. Just not my thing.

Thanks for the compliment 🙂 Yeah I feel the same way about people calling it gay. A few of the girls I hangout with were surprised to find out I shaved. If you knew me IRL you'd think I'd be the last person to shave my chest/belly 😛 You know riding four-wheelers, shooting guns, typical redneck stuff lol. And I didn't tell them the real reason for shaving, I chickened out
 
I only shave my face and neck. I've got some chest hair, but not like Austin Powers. As for what other guys do, my feeling that can and should be able to shave or not, depending on their own preference. However I think everybody should also have the right to shame other people for their choices, call them gay, etc.
 
shame the wrong person and you might of just bit off more than you can chew. If someone started giving me shit for my own choices that didn't effect others they better have quicker reflex's than me.

i shave my underarm hair. i found my pits were more temping that way to the ladies, and the antipersperant worked better.

Yeah, I have a hairy chest and everything, and every time i tell a girl or someone about it they're always like "eww, that's so gross!" Maybe its just me, but I feel like more and more people today are like you better trim and shave, etc. or else. But to answer your question, like the second guy said, I only trim, never shave. Although I think shaved looks better if you have a lot of muscle...
 
I'm usually too lazy to shave. I have some hair on my chest, but as my brother puts it, I feel it's the perfect amount.
 
I'm a guy. I usually keep my face trim and neat (goatee), but I shave my pits, and privates clean. I just prefer the feeling. Arms and legs just stay as they are (moderately hairy), and my chest is whatever (it only has a few strands, hardly noticeable).

I've never really given my body-hair much thought until I met my current gf. When we were just getting to know each other, she asked me about my shaving habits, and when I told her she asked if she could have one request; that I maintain my "landing strip". So, from then on I have made sure that a specific part of me remains unshaven lol
 
I shave chest and stomach. Sometimes armpits as well.

Always felt dirty having hair on my chest and abdomen.
