Question primarily for women

I feel kind of embarrassed (not sure I spelled that correctly) posting this but I really need some advice or input from people, primarily women. I was once engaged and when I made love to my fiance (now my ex) I would have orgasms or I would think they were orgasms. What would happen is, while I am making love I would feel like I am having an orgasm and to me it feels like a strong urinating sensation. I tell him that I have to pee and actually did. He tells me it's called a female sunshower.

Also, a previous boyfriend I had before also told me that. That's what I thought an orgasm was. I met with a guy last night from TMF who had e-mailed me that he was going to be traveling in Philadelphia and this came up in conversation. I described to him that when I am having an orgasm I feel a urinating sensation and he said that didn't sound right to him. He had been with other women and he said they described it differently. Am I weird or do orgasms different for every woman? Should I go see a doctor? I really need some advice here.

Thanks your both of your responses so far. I really feel much better now ticklkitten and what you said does make sense. I will definitely try that and it's good and helps to know that it's not that unusual. I suppose also it would help if masturbated more at least to the point of orgasm.
