R.I.P. Brooks Robinson

Perhaps the best defensive third baseman of all time. He certainly ruined the Dodgers offense in the 1966 World Series by turning what looked like (off the bat) doubles down the third base line into outs. He deserved his nickname, The Human Vacuum Cleaner.

Rest In Peace, Mr. Robinson.

I grew up with HOF third basemen like George Brett and Mike Schmidt. The only way I saw Brooks Robinson was in highlight videos, but man, could that guy play third base. One of the best. RIP.
