Halfling rogues are true masters of deception, capable of sneaking in, scouting ahead and skulking about.
That is... when luck doesn't turn *really* bad, and said rogues stumble into unseen gopher holes, much to their occupants' discontent.

...

"As if the wee beastie's cold tiny paws weren't bad enough, a guardsman was also closing, drawn in by Ladrella's chuckling... but her foot was stuck fast, and what was worse, her bladder was about to explode.
That wasn't such a fine day for sneaking around..."

...

Ok, a very quick sketch that turned into something bigger, just to remind you I can actually draw, when I remember to.

It's basically the same stuff I did on paper; little to none post-scanning touch up.
So you know I drew it, not the prog.

[Well... I *did* add the gopher later...]

Enjoy it, while it lasts.
Reg's.

This is a fascinating tickling scenario! The split-screen (half underground/half above ground) is a clever, arresting idea, and very well done. The rogue is a cutie (always a plus for a tickle victim), made all the moreso by her fantasy trappings. Beautiful gray tones, supplying nice dimensional quality to the figures and a solid sense of distance to the approaching warrior. And that gopher is hilarious, a terrificly sadisitic cartoon creation! I know it's your habit to hide your artwork amongst the various threads on the TTC, so I head there now to try to track it to down. Should I fail, I'll be back for hints.

I guess it turned out good, then.
You poignantly pinpointed all the details and subtleties I tried to infuse in my pic.
You took notice of them, laddie, and it was rewarding to me.

🙂

[Well... a 100 euros note wouldn't hurt, but now, that wasn't the point...]

😀

[New nick, new life, same birthday]

I like it. 'Course , I like just about anything that features foot-tickling. Nice work , Kalamos.

Snort! 😉

It is so rewarding to draw for such a discriminating audience of connoisseurs.

😀 😀 😀

[Yeah, I was being sarcastic. But I still love you, guys.]

Great pencil sketch, mate! Love how you drew the feet in this one!

Oh, I'm a Goofy Goober, yeah! You're a Goofy Goober, yeah... no wait, that's a gopher...

Dude, I've been waiting so long for someone to post a halfling picture. You're the man!

Well, time to reply guys.
I wanted to wait till I could find the right words.
I'm afraid we'll have to settle for something just "not too wrong".

😀 😀 😀

...

First of all, a brief explanation is in order: why a pencil sketch, for instance?
I noticed that users still like the rough and natural quality of sketches and paintings.
Some even told me that my older, computer coloured, pics seemed "cold" and soulless.

That's why I went for a pencil drawing.

...

Then we have the scene and the subject.
Well, I wanted something I could show outside TMF and TTC for friends to have a laugh from.

Had this image in my mind for a week or so, and it seemed fun enough to draw.
I tried to mix some cartoony style with a more realistic finish for the humanoid characters.

...

Lastly, halflings.
I mean... Tolkien probably had a foot fetish: whoever would come up with little folks who go about barefooted, else?

😀 😀 😀

Especially since their latest WotC incarnation, halflings really deserved to star in a tickling pic.

...

So, thanks guys - GC, TF, JS, DB.
Glad you liked this pic.
