Unless shooting out in the open, I would suggest an HK CAWS, or in a pinch, a Benelli SPAS 15.

if i'm not mistaken, the SPAS 15 is a semi-auto shotgun. i play counterstrike so much and get my shotguns confused... either that or a drum fed, fully automatic shotgun that's one scary mother and has horrible kick-back.

Actually, I look at the P90 and think of the RCP-90 from Goldeneye for the 64. Also a good gun. Fast, lots of bullets in the clip.

oh god i love P90's! yeah, Renard was the villian there, what a bad ass.

in the game: 007: Nightfire, you get the P90 in almost every level, and i love it to death. i kick so much arse with it in multiplayer mode.

my second favorite is the big ass gun from the game, it's basically a gatling gun in an assautl rifle package. i'll see if i can locate a picture of it. i'm fairly certain it's a fictional weapon. not sure, though.

seen an article a year or 2 ago about upcoming military technology talking about sweet new military gear, including a HUD (Heads Up Display) for Spec Op soldiers.

I think I've seen that one too. The mention of HUDs for special ops soldiers sounds familiar anyway.
For some reason, I always think of the HUDs in the Dark Forces games, with health, ammo count, and personal shield strength.
Hmmm, personal shields. Maybe that's the next thing we should try to invent...
