I had an opportunity to tease around Kaye's feet, and legs (size 5 with no colors at the moment) for a few minutes and as I've stated before she is pretty impervious to feet tickles, and even most leg tickles when she just wants to enjoy a good massage.
But after a pedicure she can definitely feel a whole lot more so here's to her getting a pedi very soon. (Spring is coming)👈
I rubbed her soles, stretched out her toes, kneaded her heels, and plenty more before moving up her calves. As I got to her knees I caught the flinch as I slid a finger behind her knees and lingered there for just a bit. Then another flinch along with a hard exhale as she tried to play off the overstimulation. She was definitely feeling it.
I moved around to other muscles, and joints as she stretched out her legs and feet to the massage that she was receiving.
She enjoyed the attention about as much as I loved playing with her legs and feet. (It doesn't happen enough these days)
Then a lull hit as we just watched the television and enjoyed the time to relax some.
After she changed positions and her upper body came within reach I started rubbing her stomach, and swirling my fingers around her bellybutton, and hips.
She was not as reactive as I hoped but we were relaxing some afterall. Then she suddenly started an unexpected wave of giggling as my fingers touched and teased around her lower tummy close to her waist.
I did it some more as she seemed to enjoy the sudden stream of laughter and just let me have her tummy for a bit longer.
There must have been something about me not trying to overwhelm her and just letting her giggle without judgement, or expectations that made those innocent chuckles super cute, and worth the time I was spending exploring her feet, legs, and now her tummy.
Her reactions weren't hysterical, or intense, but they were just enough that maybe we both found a sensible time to just let laughter be laughter, and to let our expectations for tickling be simple enough for both the tickler, and the ticklee to enjoy the momentary responses.
It can be easy to fixate on feet, or a sudden desirable ticklish reaction from a totally random place where we overwhelm our partners senses, and burn out the laughter too quickly.
There's still something to be said about hitting a low key ticklish place like behind their knees, or around their waist and instead of going after another hard wave of laughter; we simply carry on the teases and somehow we both get a payoff from the laughter that it creates.
I still prefer a show of giggles, squirms, and begs for help, but there can also be a time for a little self control, and just enjoying the momentary reaction to a few unexpected stimulated nerves.
