Wow!!!! This is the first of its kind. I am impressed. Not may african american pieces in this forum, this one makes up for it. I cant wait for the next one. Please continue this concept. As an african american, I would love to see more artwork that has us being tickled. Great Work!!!

Listen, I'm not condemning this work, or simply playing the race card. I'm Italian, my criticism comes from a place of love and support. Art exists to be a free form of expression. And I completely support this artist's right to draw whatever they want, and they should never be limited by what people say and their reactions to said art.

That being said...

I'm just honestly having trouble really liking this. I can't stop thinking there's probably someone not far away getting their feet cut off, or worse. Again, that's just my knee-jerk reaction, my mind I guess is wired in such a way that certain subjects evoke such a negative reaction, that I can't enjoy the tickling at all. Like if the pic has Nazis in it, I start thinking about horrible acts of genocide, and tickling becomes the last thing on my mind. Even in this pic, since you're such a talented artist, I see a whole back story for these people. I can practically envision every malnourished year and beating they've been through just from this one frame alone.

My three cents, for what it's worth. You're a fantastic artist C.A.B. And it says something that you could evoke such a strong reaction from me, even if it wasn't your intent for it to be negative. Keep doing what you do, you're one of the best our small community has in their midst right now. I really mean that.

Originally I had Master Williams sitting in on the session to the left, but the illustration was getting to crowded, and it didn't fit the storyline as 'that po' man' didn't even wanted to be bothered by the whole hen-house debacle, so he sent old George to exact punishment, to shut his wife up and get some peace.

Thanks for reminding me. I really do need to do some good ol' fashioned evil Nazi tickle torture pulp. Just like the men's action magazines of the 50's and 60's. Sweet!
