......just been watching some of your coverage of the U.S. Presidents visit to the U.K. You guys must get the impression that the whole population of the U.K. is out on the streets for the next few days protesting against his visit. Dont believe what you see or read!! the vast majority of us are at work earning money and paying taxes in order for this minority of jobless loud mouths to attract the attention of the gullible U.S. media.

I did hear of a Guardian poll on Tuesday that found “43 percent of those surveyed welcomed the Bush visit, while 36 percent opposed it. Sixty-two percent agreed that the United States is "generally speaking a force for good, not evil, in the world."

Which I was glad to hear.

When they get finished with a story at some of those places (*ahem* FOX News) it doesn't have anything to do with what the problem was in the first place. Except for a few noisy protestors - probably the Usual Suspects - it appears that UK citizens either (1) favor the US/UK invasion of Iraq, or, (2) oppose it but not passionately enough to get out and march, because they have better things to do.

But you'll never see that in the left-wing media.
