really close to being caught on the TMF with roomie

So I was sitting on the couch a minute ago, just surfing the TMF on my phone, and my roommate was in the bathroom. Pretty innocent and safe right? Well I was in the vid clips section, and someone, not naming names, embedded a youtube clip in their post...usually I wouldn't care, but for some reason it automatically started playing....and my volume was all the way up...My roommate walked out just as I was trying to turn down the volume on the screaming, hystarical laughs and gives me a weird look...I said I accidently hit a youtube clip on facebook, and she seemed to buy it, but I was so shaken by that. Any other funny stories like that?
 
About 10 years ago I had a friend over and we were messing around with my computer. I left the room to do something and forgot, I downloaded a clip and put it on the desktop or something.
When I came back, he was watching the clip and I immediately got a flushed face and I was hot and embarrassed. But I saved the situation by "explaining" it was downloaded by a virus or by itself or something. In retrospect, I cannot even believe why he fell for that...but then, maybe he didn't and just didn't say something.

Well, I was a rookie back then. Today we have privacy surfing with firefox, truecrypt and headphones...and an own apartment 😀
 
Friend used my computer. They typed something in the address field and the browser did the auto-complete and displayed TMF. They had been looking around for some time, apparently, before I noticed. Awkward.

Lesson learned. No browser history or autocomplete enabled anymore.
 
Oh no, that sounds crazy!! I just recently started coming to this site and have been a little careless with clearing my site history. I actually had been watching one of the preview clips and walked away from my computer for a half hour yesterday. I had wisely closed out the website, but I forgot to close out the windows media player. Luckily the preview had finished and the screen was blank because my cousin walked into the room for a few minutes while I was out.
 
This is exactly why I use Firefox's Profile Manager to set multiple profiles for web browsing. One profile is for my normal personal use (TMF, C4S, etc), and whenever I let someone else on or take my laptop to school, I set a different profile on with a completely different history.

I know Firefox and Opera have profile managers, and i believe IE8 and Safari allow them too, but i'm not sure.
 
My roommate found my post on LavaLife that I loved being tickled. This was like 8, 10 years ago. Since I was already outted, I just shrugged, and had not problem inviting guys over to tickle me. After all... she already knew.

She said she thought it was strange, and said she wouldn't be able to stand being tickled.... but it wasn't a big deal. 🙂
 
My old computer used to have a setting so that different users had their own access passwords. I used to load my setting up with tons of tickling photos, video clips, never worried about the pages. However, turns out that the page didn't require the password to gain access, so pretty much anyone who ever used my computer was able to access my settings and see everything I had on my computer. My younger brother and his friends always used my computer, so I'm sure they saw all of it and hopefully just never brought it up to me. When I realized they could access my page and more than likely saw everything, I wanted to get in my car and just drive far far away.

i had a simular problem once with videos. one time on my mom's computer, we used a file sharing device called KaZaa. I had recently downloaded tickle videos from it and when i do that I d/led them to a special folder because you can change where they get sent to when you d/l them, well i forgot to switch back to the normal folder one time. When you d/l them to that folder it also shows all the files in that folder so my sister gets on the computer and on kazaa to listen to her music and i was out there and she tells me something's wrong "There's all these tickling videos on it." or something like that. She doesn't really ask me about them or anything. I switch folders. I think she just thought it was weird, but nothing more... lol a glitch in kazaa or something.. lol.. she was never the brightest person ever 😛
 
About ten years ago, my family shared a computer, and I really didn't know anything about covering my tracks, erasing history, and all that good stuff thats supposed to save you from incriminating and embarassing situations. Well, I didn't know anything about this forum, and I really just used google to search for tickling fetish stuff. One day, my brother was checking out my browsing history and all that crap, and he came across all the stuff I was looking at. He then asked me "whats with all this tickling stuff?", it was so embarassing that I didn't respond.
 
im pretty militant when it comes to making sure theres no chance anything like that can happen but iv still had a couple of near misses nothing too drastic though.
 
I had a sample of a Tickle Torture clip on my documents with the thumbnail showing and my friend saw it. Luckily Charlie was wearing a lab coat or something and my friend said, sometimes those doctor's videos have good looking chicks.
 
Before I got my own laptop, I used to go to the TMF and a website called ticklingtv.com on my mom's laptop (stupid i know) I didn't know about deleting history or autocomplete so naturally all that stuff was still on there. We're both watching tv and she's on the laptop, and she goes "what's this ticklingtv.com?" I literally ripped the laptop from her grasp and deleted the webpage while blabbering out numerous excuses as to why thats there. Also while this all went down my dad conveniently came back from work. But it was all good I immediately changed the subject and she just seemed to forget about it.(bef0re telling my dad, phew) Scariest moment of my life.
 
Firefox profiles, they work.
Start>run. Type in firefox -profilemanager
Have one profile for stuff you don't mind people seeing, one for stuff you'd prefer private.
Set private one to save all downloads to a specific, relatively well hidden, folder.
Whenever you want to switch profiles, use Run to bring up the profile manager again.
Done. Simple. No problems.



Having said that, I remember being caught by my parents with bondage porn videos. That was... not so great. They were very, very conservative, entirely set in their ways, and dislike pretty much anything that they see as out of the norm. I was about 15. While I'd been carefully doctoring my history, back then Realplayer kept one viewing history thing for the entire computer - I hadn't even been aware that it kept the stuff. Not a good day at all 😛
 
A few years ago I was at Djerdan restaurant with a close female friend, just before seeing a play. In the course of dinner, the waitress said, "See you tomorrow night." My friend asked me what was happening tomorrow night, so I told her there was a dinner get-together for my fetish community, and then I told her what it was. She proceeded to tell me about her kink. In that instance, I knew there was no harm in telling her. But, in those less safe relationships I recommend this:

1. Don't admit to more than you have to. The fact that you look at this site doesn't mean you're totally into it; you might just think it's a hoot. The fact that you like to be tickled doesn't mean you belong to a community where people have conventions to tie each other up and tickle each other. So, whatever the other person learns on you, don't admit to more if you don't want to.

2. Don't appear to be covering anything up, and don't appear as if it bothers you. If you've been found out as being into tickling, shrug and say "Yeah, I'm into tickling." The topic will most likely fizzle out right there.
 
I've had a few close calls, and one that I'm still not quite sure about. I was bringing my computer in to the IT guy in my department so he could install the newest version of windows (which in itself was a big mistake, but that's an entirely different problem). Anyway, I made backups of all my important files and told him that he could just erase everything, and I thought I had erased everything incriminating, including the default folder for web downloads. However, when I got my computer back, all my old personal files were back on there, including the web download folder chock full of clips. I guess he thought he was doing me a favor and restoring all my files with my new operating system. I'm not sure if he had a program that simply transferred the files, or if he manually copied and pasted everything back onto my computer, but he did act a bit of odd towards me the next day when I picked up my computer...d
 
haha, this reminds me of something that happened to me a few months ago. I was going to post about it then but never did. So anyway, I bought a new smart phone a few months ago. After I bought the phone at the Verizon store, they had a very attractive young lady sit down with me to go over a few of the features of my new phone. One of the things she helped me with was to set up my e-mail on my phone. She scrolled through a few of my e-mails and at the time I had it set up to receive e-mail notifications of responses to threads on the TMF. So I'm sure that the woman saw some e-mails that said "Tickling Media Forum" on them. She didn't blink an eye, but I could feel my face getting red and embarrassed. I can laugh about it now, but at the time it was a very embarrassing experience. 😀
