If by "that", you mean Record of Lodoss War, then yes.
I'd also like to point out most of these advancements and re-mastering happens in America, only after its been through the english track, or for whatever language its also dubbed in.
A perfect example is Neon Genesis Evangelion. The original japanese track has several sound effect flaws which sound silly, and needed to be improved. For example, when a certain someone (I won't mention their name, because I don't want to spoil it for people that haven't seen it) is shot and killed near the end of the series, the gunshot in the japanese track sounded more like someone slapping someone hard. What the recording studios here did was take that out in the english/languages track and added in a real life gunshot. This not only made it sound more realistic, but it helped add to the mood of the asassination scene. There are many other sound effects that were improved upon as well.
I really have to give credit to American audio specialists for making the experience all so much more enjoyable and real. Evangelion is a serious anime, so it needs to sound that way. Having goofy sounds and sound effects doesn't do it justice. But as I said, thats only in the japanese track. For the Evangelion movies, it was another job well done. Because in that, there are new surround sound options to take full advantage of the re-mastering.
