Tonight, in a game between the Reds and Indians, Reds manager Bryan Price had something happen which I believe has only happened to notoriously "hotheaded" managers like the late Earl Weaver, and the late Billy Martin. Price was ejected from the game BEFORE the start of the game, apparently in a carryover from him being unhappy about some umpire calls in last night's game.
As the lineup cards were being exchanged, Price started jawing at the umpires, and, after a few minutes,, got tossed.
The video should be at www.yardbarker.com, or on Youtiube, as they seem to get manager ejection videos up on Youtube fairly quickly, even from the current season.
We know that major league managers get ejected on a regular basis, but the whole being ejected before the game started, is what makes this interesting.
