Remember the old pre-internet tickling mags? A question

Those of us a little older may remember Tied & Tickled (the magazine, not the series of videos), Tickling Scene, Ticklish I think was another? All made by the same people, HOM I think they were called. There's a thread where a TMF member has scanned all of his old mags, that brings back memories by the way, and those are the mags I'm talking about. I've always wondered something: in those photo shoots do you think there was actual tickling going on, or was everybody just posing and acting like there was tickling going on? Whatever the answer is, I suppose its the same as just general porno mags...is there actual intercourse going on or just people "assuming the position" while the photographer takes his pics? Now that I think about it, for the latter it probably would be difficult for the guys to keep an erection while they just sat around and posed, so there had to be something going on. But it could easily have been different with the tickling mags. Does anyone here have any behind-the-scenes info where those old mags were concerned, and how much actual tickling was going on and how much was just posing?

In some instances it's posed but for the most part things are actually going on for the reality of it. My experiences are only from working with Rick Savage on a couple of occasions. The girl he was filming was my girlfriend at the time and I was in one of his videos. A scene that would have a fast motion and they want a closeup of the actual strike is usually staged and the way it's done ie a close up of a whip or flogger striking he would in rhythm and slow the photographer counts as the strike hits then shoots on the count. He does like everything to be real though for true expressions. I can't really speak for all producers. Rick shot a lot of vids for galaxy video.
