I remember Mr Karen.

He was very famous from his face/voice in the Pathmark commercials, as well as other roles.

I read somewhere that his "Poltergeist" role nearly cost him the Pathmark spokesperson job.

It seems a lot of consumers, who couldn't separate his role in the film with being the spokesperson, wrote the Pathmark company angry that he sold the house to the Freelings knowing that the house was possessed. Wow!
