My boyfriend and I are having trouble tying me up spread eagle given the size of my bed. I am always able to bend my elbows/knees no matter what we try due to the shortness of the bed. Another problem the short bed poses is that any larger flat board cannot be stored discreetly under it. We were throwing around ideas to solve this need for a way to securely restrain me given my short bed (72"L X 50"W) and limited storage space.

One solution for this (which we need help perfecting) is to buy a decently thick sheet of wood and screw rings into it to clip onto. The problem with this is storage. I would need to cut the avg size board in half to store under my bed or anywhere else. This creates the possibility of movement at the point where the two halves meet ][ ...we really need some input on this one. I'm not opposed to scrapping the whole idea if anyone can come up with something simpler, just as effective and possibly more discreet.

I'd really appreciate any help you can give us. <<<<----

well . . any piece of wood can be cut into smaller sections and then reconnected by using pin hinges. My suggestion would be to rig something up like that, that would allow for storage but still be able to go together and provide ample bondage potential!

Good luck!

If the bed is too short then there is little that can be done to limit your motion as there will always be a lot of play in your limbs.

One option is to change the bondage to a 'Y' position where wither your legs are bound at the ankles, or your arms at the wrists and then the linked limbs are tied off to the beds frame. You may be able to get a tighter bondage that way.

Myriads

It won't be a spreadeagle, properly speaking, but you could try doing it diagonally: arms together to one corner, ankles spread to the bottom and side of the bed.

Also, bear in mind that the wider your legs are spread and the closer they're tied to the corners, the further down the bed you'll be when tying your wrists to the other corners.

A third option is to to tie your wrists together, and position you with your head at the foot of the bed and your arms bent at the elbows so your wrists go over the foot of the bed toward the floor and your head is at the edge of the bed. Then spread your legs and tied them off to the corners at the head of the bed.

Recently read of this position where ankles and wrists are tied together, and then tied to the headboard

or ankles/legs up and slightly back, tied to headboard, with arms out and tied separately -- Neither is spreadeagled but these may be options? given your small space -

Can you be folded a bit, perhaps, to vary what the more informed Myriads mentioned?

Or, arms up, legs out wide and curling under the bed? Maybe ankles tied underneath the bed, to legs of the bed, or to each other, also under the bed -- I don't know if any of these would be comfortable enough.

Otherwise, a sleeping bag or two on the floor, and you tied spread eagled between the legs of furniture that's too heavy to give, if you have enough space on the floor and with the layout of the room.

Best of luck!

Have your wrists tied to the bed as usual but bend your elbows and have those tied to the bed too. Try a spreader bar between your knees but still have your ankles and knees tied to the bed.

Some great ideas so far. If you go with the board, I would hinge it, not using removeable pins - just door hinges. Quicker and easier to set up/tear down. Using rings as tie down points would still let you thrash around too much - better to cut 2 oval slots beside each other and loop your webbing / velcro through them - see some of the tickling beds in the videos / pictures for sale on this site. Also, depending on your bed, you could store the board between the mattress and box spring - my wife and I did this for years, and it helped our backs by counteracting the sag.
My wife has trouble tickling my feet when I'm tied up because I can't keep my feet still. Even when bound, I can move one in front of the other, and keep them moving. I am building a portable foldup mini stock - one that can fit into a small soft briefcase - I will be ready to test next week. It will comfortably not allow any movement of the feet. Let me know if you want a picture of it in case you want to build your own.
Also, let me know what part of you you like being tickled on - this will help me come up with specific ideas for you. Happy tickling.

Have you tried arm restraints at your elbows instead of on your wrists? Here are two possibilities, both similar to Redmage's suggestion.
1. Attach the headboard-corner cuffs above your elbows, if you can close them tight enough to hold. This leaves your hands free, but you can't do much with them (except tickle your boyfriend back, maybe).
2. If that doesn't work, tie your hands together above your head, then attach the headboard-corner cuffs to the crooks of your elbows.

have you tried the under the mattress resrtraint system.this way you do not need the wood

Thank you for the suggestions

I wanted to thank all of you that replied for your helpful tips. There were a few questions posed and some that came to my mind...

someone asked where I was ticklish to better understand how I should be tied....my ler gets the most play out of my torso...anywhere between my hip bones and neck. He is also a foot person but I can never keep still enough. A picture of the portable stock might be helpful just for general ideas. Then how would it be attached to something.

Someone had mentioned "pin hinges" I was just wondering how much force they could withstand b/c my main reaction is to sit up. This would make the hinges strain backwards.

And I dont' think the under the mattress ones would work just due to the fact that my mattress is to small to fully extend my body even with my limbs towards the corners. (when I rest my head normally on a pillow my feet can hang off the bed. with my arms extended it increases the problem)

Thank you for your interest and help
