Reviews of your favorite DVD-Recorder/Player

For those who own a DVD Recorder/player I need your input on your favorite DVD recorder/player please. What is the best one you had used and what was the worst?

I currently have a Panasonic DMR ES20 and I would rate it 2.5 to 3 stars out of 5. I'm thinking about getting a new one.

I own a Sony DVP-NSF75P. I've had it a little over 2 years and would rate it three out of five stars. It gets the job done, but the laser seems kind of weak. Whenever I try to watch Conan the Barbarian on it, the movie itself works fine, but the dvd skips on the trailers. Yet they play just fine on my computer or portable dvd player. Other than that though I've had little to complain about regarding it. I paid about $115 for it brand new so it wasn't too bad of a deal 🙂

Nowadays, the only DVD player that I ever use is the one inside of my XBox 360. I have never seen better playback from a standard (non HD-DVD or Bluray) player. I give it 5 stars, easy.
