I went to see it on the 5th. I didnt like it. Looks like it was left open for another part, even though they said it was going to be a triliogy (sp). I cant say what I didint like about it without postig spoliers, so if you want specific details, you have to PM me.

Lime, I'd like to talk about this. Send me an e-mail

[email protected]

I didn't like it either. I'd like to talk with you about it, and se if you didn't like it for the same reasons.

Lime,

May I make a suggestion? Why don't you post your comments about the film here in ROT-13 format. (http://tools.geht.net/rot13.html) That way, those of us who are interested in reading them can do so without bugging you individually, but at the same time, will prevent spoiling it for other people.

I never thought there could ever be a movie that was as horrible as reloaded; I was wrong. The "Final" two movies of the "trilogy" completely destroyed the credibility of the Matrix name.

I haven't actually seen Reloaded or Revolutions yet, but the comments here reflect exactly what I feared would happen. The original movie was brilliant, partly because so many questions were not answered. Try to provide neat answers for them all, and the whole thing just becomes trite...

Anyone ever read Arthur C. Clarke's "Rendezvous with Rama?" Brilliant SF, one of the best ever. But the sequels... oh god. Trying to explain everything demolishes the whole point, and also degenerates into violence, crudity, etc.

I'm in no rush to see 2 & 3. For me, I think the Matrix will stay a stand-alone.

I also saw it on the 5th and thought it was just an Ok movie...nothing REALLY special...nothing that EVERY other movie will have to copy!
I mean when "bullet time" came around because of the "Matrix",every other movie had some "bullet time" effect.
And that same bullet time effects that made "Matrix" so popular was brushed aside in the other two films.

In the first Matrix film, Agent Smith does that quick Multi-punching thing to Neo. Great effect...never seen again in the other two films.

It is sad when you say, gee "Reloaded" wasn't soo bad...when compared to "Revolutions".
I will watch the First Matrix again and again...but I will not HAVE to watch the other two films again and again to "GET IT"...I got it alright!!!```

I just saw Revolutions last night. I should have just stayed with watching the first movie. Matrix was a great , innovative movie and I was content with the ending. The sequels were just money makers and yes, it's hard to believe Revolutions made Reloaded look good.

I heard there is going to be a fourth installment.
The people of Zion rebel, using pop-ups, spam and viruses to get back at the Matrix only to have a whole new OS created by the evil mastermind Bill Gates. The last scene is Bill counting his money as he goes on to to copywrite the word "BILLionare". 😛

I just got back from watching the latest Matrix movie. Although I wasn't totally blown away by the second movie, I didn't dislike it as much as others I have conversed with-- I was expecting the third movie to "bring it all home and deliver the goods." Sadly, I was disappointed.

I won't post any spoilers here, but I think the real problem is just too many tangled storylines compressed into a time frame. They were heading in a very interesting direction with the whole Gnostic mysticism, but the writers seem to have thrown that overboard really quickly in the beginning of the third movie.

Same great look and feel, lots of interesting action sequences and special effects . . . but the writing/storyline simply wasn't there.
