Ricky Steamboat, it doesnt look good

Ricky Steamboat remains in the hospital and continues to experience a great deal of head pain. This, coupled with the fact that he has been there for so many weeks now, has people very concerned.


if the on air beatdown he suffered (which did cause the annyerism) ends up killing steamboat the WWE should be ashamed. But i doubt they care about Ricky, and only care about the negative media it would get them

any "injuries" he suffered are not wwe's fault...wrestling is staged it wasnt an actual beatdown...if the guy is that old then maybe he should be in the ring anymore. Im not saying its cool that hes hurt cuz that certainly isnt a good thing, but he needs to know his own limitations. At the same time though...The wrestlers do need to be careful even though its staged...Austin almost broke his kneck cuz he wrestled someone who did a piledriver the wrong way.

In Owen's defence, as I understand it, he had told Austin he didn't feel comfortable doing the move to him, but he insisted. As for Steamboat, no he didn't have to do it, but he was asked to do it, witch maked the WWE responsable for anything that happens to him as a result. If wrestling had a union (witch they need badly) non of this would even be up for debate, because allot of this stuff would never happen.

You have no freakin' clue . A stinger instead of a broken neck . Its funny cause your lack of knowledge on the subect is sad .

I maybe wrong about it, but I find it hard to take any thing he say during a WWE interview as legitimate.

Before we shut down the WWE, lets see what transpires and we get all the necessary details. Ricky was performing on the show in part to promote the new DVD so I'm sure he was contracted to do so. Being that he was contracted, he would have knowingly been aware of what the bit would entail. Its not like Vince was backstage with a gun on Ricky's family forcing him to go out there and participate.

Its a terrible tragedy what has happened, but by no means was Ricky forced to do this against his will. Just like Austin's injury, as well most injuries in this industry, it was a risk all these performers take.
