I just heard of this on the radio (yes, I still listen to it). Another major force in rock gone (of course, the younger ones may not know about ELP). RIP Keith.

I haven't stopped listening to ELP since yesterday when I heard the news. RIP Keith!

What a tragic loss. The original ELP was before my time, although I love their music. I did see Emerson, Lake and Powell(Cozy Powell who's also no longer w/us) once. Keith was a genius, an artist and like many w/his kind of once in a lifetime talent obviously he suffered from depression.
Bands like Yes and ELP faded out in the early 80's, but to me 70's prog-rock blows away the crap that's being produced today.

True talent and ability without all the hype and video. The ability to make the music felt in your soul come out of your fingertips is Herculean. Even more so, is having the wherewithal to do so.

I've been an ELP fan since their first album came out (I still have it!).
