She was a great leader.

Your strength and character will always live on.
 
For Britain, who saw her as one of their own, it's was a time for mourning.

For the former colonies that Britain conquered, pillaged, oversaw, and eventually let go of, it was just another reminder of the pain they suffered in the past.

That being said, deep down, I feel Elizabeth didn't want to hurt anyone and never really had any true power over the decisions her nation made.

So I will simply say may your soul find rest Elizabeth and leave it at that.
