Due to the popularity of our last 80s night show we are doing it again! This time I am gonna shut up our favorite little Mexican and get more more more music on.

So what I need from all of you is suggestions on music. I could very easily pick a dozen 80s tracks that "I" like best to play but we all know it "never" matters what I wanna do. hehe So now is your chance. Get a list going and I'll pick some good ones out for the show. And if you have some significant event to go with the song/s you pick, list that here too and I just might mention that when we play it. If you feel like sending requests in a PM, fire them to ME. I'll be the one making the final cut on songs this time around.

The deadline on this will be Midnight eastern Friday night so I'm not in a rush on Saturday.

And Rob might even give a little something to people that pick something exceptionally good that we hadn't already thought of.

i always liked the "music for the masses" album from depeche mode. good 1987 album 🙂 brings back a lot of memories from when i was a kid. violator from the same band was also another of my favs of that time.

What's an 80's flashback without...

The Safety Dance - Men Without Hats (good for a laugh)
Thriller - Michael Jackson (fuck what anyone says, this song was awesome!)
I Ran - Flock of Seagulls (the epitome of 80's pop music)
Physical - Olivia Newton-John (I actually saw this song being used in an advertisement for a kid's exercise video. Hard to believe it was once super controversial)
Anything from the heyday of Hall & Oates
Anything from the heyday of The Cars
It's Raining Men - The Weather Girls (Rob's favorite song to strip to)
Don't You Forget About Me - Simple Minds (who doesn't know this song?)

Metal-wise...

Number of the Beast - Iron Maiden (I still can't believe I heard this song being played in a Wal-Mart one night)
Creeping Death- Metallica (from back when they actually wrote good music)
Raining Blood - Slayer (The gods of 80's metal)
Madhouse - Anthrax (true originators in thrash metal)
Institutionalized - Suicidal Tendencies (one of very few bands to successfully crossover from punk to metal. Also, the grandfathers of skater thrash)

Holy crap, Lee's list got my playlists rolling this morning! Fuck, I miss the '80's.
