These guys probably always wanted to do duets together since they were both so awesome. Share with us your favorite Robert Goulet and Neil Diamond moments.
I used to listen to the "Jazz Singer" soundtrack in high school (the 3rd remake with Neil Diamond). Great music throughout.
Having grown up watching variety shows like Carol Burrnet, etc., how could you not be in awe of Goulet's voice? Being a bass/baritone myself, one can't help but want to emulate it, esp. since most music these days require guys to have an estrogen-induced high pitch.
I have forgotten (my senior moment) the year that Robert Goulet (a Canadian) was booked to sing The Star-Spangled Banner at a prize fight and forgot the lyrics.
