Well, there goes yet another band I love...

Yeah man.. I really wonder who they'll get for a new singer...

I mean, Roy also helped write the songs, and he was mostly what made Kamelot Kamelot. I can't see the songs of the future being quite as good as what they were with Khan, whether by written quality, or sound quality.

I hope to be surprised... but we'll see.

They weren't terrible before Roy, but Roy did define them in a sense that most lead singers define the band. His voice was unique and his live performances had their own personality to them.

While the guest singers for their tour can hit the notes and perform the songs well, it won't feel the same. As a fan of Kamelot though, and not just Roy, I'm going to withhold judgment until new material is written and performed by whoever the replace him with.

Good call. Yeah, I'm gonna wait until new song come out. Thomas Youngblood had the majority of the song writing responsibilities... I believe Roy spent most of the time on the lyrics, if not all.

Kamelot may not sound the same because Roy left, but I think they'll still be pretty good. They may not be amazing as they once were with Roy's unique sound, but we'll see...
