Dudes... The English patch for Monster Girl Quest Paradox part one was finished a few days ago, and I've been playing it for a while. It's a great game, but HOOO LEEE SHITT the ASSETS.
This game is the fucking El Dorado of RPGMaker assets. Animations, tilesets, sprites, sprite animations. Not to mention the mechanics that could be learned just by studying the game files (because most of it is english translated as well)
To anyone that dreams of making an RPGMaker game of their own, I could not more strongly recommend taking this game apart and looking at how it works. Since all of the stuff here is non profit and non commercial, I'd also suggest making use of the JACKPOT of assets this game has packed in.
I've been playing this game for almost 8 hours total now, and I think I've only seen THREE character graphics that I recognize as belonging to RPGMaker. The other dozens of character graphics are 100% original work.
Unfortunately, most of the custom scripts this game uses are like.. Half translated. But, i'm sure someone familiar with coding would be able to pick up more than a few things from what IS translated.
Put it to you this way, this game has at LEAST 200 characters that you can add to your party, and EACH ONE has its own UNIQUE character sprite, like the one that walks. That is insane. IN SANE.
