Many thanks to the Carolina folks for giving the Saints a big welcome this afternoon. They're going through a tough time with having to relocate and all. I thought it was a class act with all the signs the Caroline fans held up during the game giving the Saints support.
 
I thought it was pretty classy as well. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you who have had to deal with the aftermath of Katrina. It is nice that LSU and the Saints can provide you guys with a little diversion. I know that is what the Mets did for New York back in 2001 after the World Trade Center tragedy. It does not change reality but sports can provide unity and a distraction from what is horrible.
