I had a conversation with my wife this morning “A Bar Room Augment” when you were a kid and use to tickle or get tickled by your friend “same gender” there was never any mention of being gay. But, some how while in your teen it is consider gay to tickle someone of the same gender according to the “MAJORITY”. All the way up to adulthood.

It is more acceptable for f/f tickling than m/m tickling, even though, no sexual touching is down, “touch of the private areas” We decided to ask the community

Is same gender tickling considered the beginning of Gayness for lack of a better word? Can you tickle someone of the same gender and still be consider “Straight”

:tickle: :shake: :cry1:  😕 :bouncybou :illogical 😱 :yowzer:

Well I am repulsed by the thought of tickling or being tickled by another guy - and no, I'm not homophobic. Yet for most women it is apparently seen as totally harmless and fun to have some tickle-fun with another female. I made a thread about this a while ago; it just seems women are more touchy-feely and comfortable with all that than men.

Kick ASS GUN :woot:

Thanks i'm going to read your thread I would love to see the replies.

The ONLY person that knows weather or not your really 100% Gay is YOU and only yourself. People can ponder and assume all that they want to until thier blue in the face weather or not this person or that person is gay or bi or likes people of the same gender. But really when it comes down to it the only person that knows weather your gay or not is you NOT anybody else. So just because you tickle a member of the same sex does not make you ''gay'' or even ''bi''. If you liked girls or guys to begin with and you know that you do over the years then yeah then it would. Because you and everybody else knows it you came out of the closet and told the world. And yeah you can still tickle people of the same gender a million and one times in your life time and still be considered ''straight''. Because i go back to once again if you know in your heart that your gay then you are your the only person that knows if you are or not same thing goes with being ''straight'' and tickling same sex genders male/male or female/female.

Wow i can't believe i rambled on that much about this. Makes no sense oh well.

Well if you need help finding it, you can read it here .

Personally, tickling is a sexual thing, so m-m tickling seems "gay" and is thus uncomfortable to me.

However, being objective I'd say no, it's not more "gay" than two guys sharing an umbrella, even though some people probably has an umbrella fetish and would think otherwise. (Bad example, but you get my drift)

I'm totally comfortable in my own sexuality, there are no questions, hence, no real inhibitions to speak of. I know I'm purty straight, and that my reaching over and poking another guy in the sides or something's not gonna make me turn into a homosexual. Of course, if YOU have a genuine problem with me doing this, then there's nothing I can do for you...

Well, tickling other men is kinda gay, but so is guys hugging, kissing, sleeping in the same bed, and talking about your feelings. Girls do those things because, as earlier described, girls are more touchy feely. Most people view tickling as foreplay and some people, like ourselves, get sexual gratification from it so its not hard to see why it is "wierd' among men

So since I wear my heart on my sleeve and talk about my feelings from time to time with girls. That makes me Gay? or Because i don't mind the color pink as a color that makes me Gay?

No, you misunderstood me. I meant talking about youre feelings with other guys is kind of gay. and the color pink is ok too(to most people)

I have to disagree with you on some of your points. Guys talking about thier feelings with other guys is not necessarily Gay. What about if you are going to a Psyciatrist? You are there to tell them your feelings. Does that make you gay?

Also, why cant a guy give a guy a hug. I'm not talking about something passionate. I talking about a hug like a salutation. Hello, Goodbye type of thing. This is acceptable in many cultures. I for one give a big hug to all my male freinds who I have know for a long time. Nothing sexual about it and they and I are quite comfortable with it.

M/M tickling is only sexual when the participants decide it should be sexual. I have had many innocent sessions with men over the years and the only intent was tickling and having fun. Nothing more and it is the same when I have tickling sessions with women. It is innocent and nothing more. Just pure fun.

Yes there are people who view tickling as sexual and as foreplay, and that is fine. But there are also many people who do not view it this way.

That's most likely because it's during those years that we start puberty and begin to feel sexual about things especially touching. Afterward, in adulthood we still have funny feelings left over from that experience that for some of us will never go away.

Yes, it is more exceptable because most women are prone to being open with their feelings while most men prefer to see such expression as a weakness due to an age old insecurity. Also men are more easily aroused than women and that could also have something to do with men being so guarded against certain kinds of stimuli involving other men.

You can tickle anyone of any gender or age without it being sexual except for some individuals who respond only sexually to the stimulus or the thought of tickling.
