Satin sheets? Or Egyptian Cotton?

What kind of sheets should I buy for my new King Size bed? in my new killer apartment with a view of downtown Toronto... I will be hosting some serious hanky panky there and I can afford the best.

So let's hear it ladies, what is the very best bedding a man can buy?

I like and have used both. But personally prefer the cotton over the satin. The satin tends to slip and slide to much and doesn't stay on the mattress very well.. But then again if you can afford the best why not try both. Again, I personally love egyptian cotton,high thread count, sleep naked and make sure you buy a nice down comforter. Pure heaven! I have had both and like both. The satin does tend to come off the mattress but you can get fasteners to keep them in place. The only other down side would be if your gril was wearing say a satin chemise and you throw her on the bed there by skipping her across the bed to hit the wall and finally land on the floor. (God that hurt soooo bad).

I own some, and love them, and they're comfortable to sleep on, too.

As for satin vs cotton, I prefer cotton.

Cotton. I have found that the pillow squirts out from under my head on satin.

I've had my eye on high thread count Egyptian cotton sheets for a while now. I have satin sheets and I do like them, but, you do slide a bit and I also find if you are warm/hot sometimes they tend to stick to the skin, which isn't great, but they are lovely and soft against the skin.

I'll have to do a bit of research into buying some Egyption sheets, find the best deals, do a bit of saving up first though.
