Saw the new "Nightmare on Elm Street"...

Pretty damn good, I'd say! Haley played a very dark, brutal, sinister Freddy. As far as remakes go, I feel this was one of the better ones. I'll be interested to read your opinions once you've had the chance to see it.

The funny thing is, my local newspaper said something along the lines of "Well, it wasn't anything like Saw."
Okay, for one, I adore the Saw movies. ~gorewhore~ but I still got annoyed with the comparison. THEY ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! *seethes* Ah well, I really adored this remake, and I liked the originals, too.
I'm probably just really bias because I'm a big Jackie Earle Haley fan. 😀

I'm thrilled that it wasn't anything like Saw. I feel that Nightmare had just enough gore in it and never really went over-the-top. Haley's turn as the esteemed Mr. Krueger upped the creep-factor just enough.
