Saying Goodbye to Stipplewitz

Hey everyone. Well...the final issue of Stipplewitz is now available at MTJ. Just want to say thanks for all the support over the last couple of years. Stipp is leaving the tickling community...but she is now on her way to mainstream comics. Stipplewitz comics are now in the works and will be sold as "manga" comic novels. Hopefully before too much longer, you will see her on the shelves at book stores and comic shops.

I'll still be doing tickling comics. The first issue of Tats was a big success and her adventures will be continuing (Issue 2 is about half way done). Topin at the moment is stuck in limbo as I'm more focused on the Tat's storyline.

Again...thanks for all the support with Stipplewitz. 😀

Edit: This new manga series will have nothing to do with what you know of Stipplewitz...except that she is evil and her design. 😉 She will be a complete reworking and will have no association with the Stipp of MTJ.

he just said, what you know of stipplewitz, NONE will remain. shame really, she was quite a good looking ticklee. ever suppose that old (tickling related) issues will be sold in mainstream as well?

I want to say congrats to you, TD; for putting Stripp in the mainstream scene. I wish you the bset of luck with the Stripplewitz manga series. As always, keep up the good work and try not to leave Topin in limbo to long.

Well that sucks. No one will ever stand up and post tickling in a mainstream comic. Can't blame you of course...I wouldn't either.

Thanks everyone for the support. I might not have explained clearly in the original post. I guess the best way to understand what is happening with Stipp...is to think what happened with Yenny...only instead of a daily strip...it will be a quartly graphic novel. Stipp's design and her personality will be the same...but minus the tickling aspect.

Okay so here's a thought. You're still going to be doing tickling pictures for TMF also? You were just thinking about not doing Stipplewitz tickling pictures for TMF anymore, correct right? So my question is...why? Can't you do your mainstream non-tickling comics of her for your new job and still do Stipplewitz tickling in your spare time here? I mean it's you're character..you own the rights to her. So what's stopping you from doing both?

I rather be giving congrats for TD with his artwork, as he truly deserves it. Topin will always be my fave though.

True...the Topin and Tats series are staying within the tickling community...but I'm moving Stipplewitz out and into mainstream because I have alot of big plans for her. I'm pretty much doing what Dave Alverez did with Yenny.

That is terrific news for you and Stipp!! I think I can safely say that everyone here will miss Stipp terribly, but I am so happy for you that you have the opportunity to take her character main stream.

Since Ozzy left the tickling scene - I really feel that Stipplewitz has filled a lot of that void. The great news for all of us is that you will still be on the scene with Topin and Tats, and we will still get to see Stipp (non tickling as she may be) in a quarterly manga.

Please let all of us fans know how to get that graphic novel as it becomes available 🙂

I just posted my fist pic ever on the forum - but I have always wanted to do a Stipp tribute pic - let me know if that is still a possibility 😱)

Thank you for all the Fantastic Stipp comics - the new one is gonna kick butt as well!
